Welcome to our blog! We are a team of 25 youth and youth leaders from Westney Heights Baptist Church. Our goal is to go to Siguatepeque in Honduras and help the missionaries Dave and Esther Bettney. They work at a school called Comunidad Educativa Evangelica, or Siguatepeque Bilingual Christian School. While we are there we will be running several VBS programs over the 12 days as well as help in the building and supplying of a "Caseta" (a small building) which will be used as the school kitchen and lunch room.
The team has been working hard over the last 6 months raising money for our trip. We are almost at our goal. What we are looking for now more than anything is for your prayers. Each of the team members has asked a team of people to pray for them but we are looking for more people to pray. Please see the team list below.
